Bride's Party

Best Man

I met Chris Golden walking down the hall of the Radisson our freshman year at USC. I was drawn to the incredibly loud and awesome music he was playing, and quickly realized that anyone with that great of taste in music was clearly a cool guy as well. Hopefully, I will soon be able to move back to the west coast and resume a tradition of hanging out and watching USC football with Chris again.

Bridesmaids

Picture this: it's the summer of 2003, and all over Madrid, Spain, two twenty-something American girls walk around the city to a chorus of "Rubia! China!" That is how Wan Tang and I met, and our friendship blossomed due to a shared love of Spanish culture (culture meaning food, music and men, of course). After frolicking together in LA, I later convinced the poor girl to attend Yale, where I kidnapped her and forced her to live with me. Now, Wan is taking her revenge by being the drill sargeant I need to get into shape before the wedding.

A tiny fireball, Jade Li and I share a love/hate relationship (mostly hate) with genetics. Jade is a dedicated pilates attendee, as we both love having Matisse beat us up in class twice a week. Also, if the weather's nice I can even get Jade to run with me.

Groom's Party

Maid of Honor

Rich has known Kelly Zahorodni for what seems like forever. I'll let him write his own description, but for now I'll just say that Kelly is the best source of embarassing Rich stories out there.

Groomsmen

Rich's groomsmen will be his clan from his days at RPI: Tom Hermann and Jimmy Pells. Tom was Rich's frisbee companion at RPI, and Jimmy was the official ultimate frisbee team groupie. They lived together each year at RPI (actually, Tom lived across the hall freshman year).

Another close friend from RPI, Mike Landry, was also asked to be a groomsman but unfortunately will be unable to make it due to being across the pond in England for his current employment.

Other People of Importance

Groom's Hair Wrangler

As a curly hair expert herself, Erica Schleifman has agreed to be the official Groom's Hair Wrangler. She will make sure that Rich's rioutous curls are controlled and sculpted to perfection on the big day.

My Brothers

I'm not sure what I'll ask them to do yet, but I'll try to get my brothers involved in some way. Unless, of course, they'd rather just sit back and and enjoy the food. That works too.
